Refund & Cancellation Policy for MTGTrekk.com

At MTGTrekk.com, we understand that travel plans can change. Our goal is to provide clear and fair policies regarding cancellations and refunds while ensuring we can continue to offer high-quality tour experiences.
1. Booking Confirmation & Deposits
- A non-refundable deposit (typically 20–30% of the total tour cost) is required to secure your booking.
- The remaining balance must be paid by the deadline specified at the time of booking (usually 14–30 days prior to the tour).
2. Cancellation by You (the Customer)
Refunds (excluding non-refundable deposits and third-party costs) will be issued based on the notice period provided before the tour start date:
- More than 30 days before the tour: 80% refund of the total paid amount
- 15 to 30 days before the tour: 50% refund
- Less than 15 days: No refund
Important: If your tour includes third-party bookings (e.g., flights, hotels, permits), any non-refundable fees or cancellation charges by those vendors will be deducted from the refund.
3. Group Tours
- Cancellations must be made on a per-person basis.
- Group discounts may be voided if group size drops below the minimum requirement after cancellations.
- Group-specific policies or payment timelines (if applicable) will be clearly outlined during booking.
4. Custom or Private Tours
- Custom/private tours are more complex and may involve advance bookings with external vendors.
- No refund will be issued for cancellations made less than 30 days before the tour.
- Cancellations made more than 30 days in advance will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis; refunds (minus non-refundable costs) may be granted at our discretion.
5. Cancellation by MTGTrekk.com
We reserve the right to cancel a tour in the event of:
- Unforeseen circumstances (weather, natural disaster, political unrest)
- Insufficient number of participants (for group tours)
In such cases, we will offer:
- A full refund, or
- An option to reschedule, or
- The choice to apply your payment to a future tour
6. No-Show & Late Arrivals
- No refunds will be given if you fail to appear for the tour or arrive late and miss departure.
- It is your responsibility to be present at the designated meeting point on time.
7. Refund Timeline
If eligible, refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days using your original method of payment. Processing time may vary depending on your payment provider.
8. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect yourself against cancellations, medical emergencies, or unexpected travel disruptions. MTGTrekk.com is not responsible for expenses outside the scope of the tour (e.g., international airfare, visa fees, personal items).
